On March 24, the "Elegant Gathering" Laboratory Construction Salon, themed "high-quality development of science laboratories", was successfully held at Baoshan Temple in Shanghai. The site selection was distinctive—a place where traditional beliefs are upheld and Buddhism is practiced. Colleagues from the laboratory industry and users carry a sense of mission. Similarly, the salon took "safety" as its cornerstone and spread a philosophy of "building an orchid room, creating harmony". The salon featured an art meeting, an elegant gathering, lectures, free exchanges, and food options for vegetarians.

Initiated by Professor Liu Dong (Head of the Integrated Environment Team and Technical Director of the Laboratory Whole Process Engineering Consulting and Development Center at Tongji University), the salon invited infrastructure departments from various universities, design teams, EPC contractors and equipment suppliers, laboratory standards evaluators, and international laboratory construction platforms.
